The considerable price reduction of Vala SIM cards meant that everyone could have a mobile phone number now. Targeted at the rural consumer, where the fixed telephony had very little reach and low income made it difficult to afford a mobile number, this low budget campaign focused on the benefits of having a mobile phone for every member of the family.
"U pjek pitja!' (The pie is ready!) became a hit tagline, often used as a joke to this today, while the campaign sold over 100,000 SIM cards within a week.
